Wine is the true protagonist of the territory of the ancient Tusculum, where Casale Marchese can be found. The production of the “nectar of the gods” has been documented since Roman times. Their Frascati is typical of the historical excellence of this land, which one of Italy’s great botantists, Andrea Bacci defined in the sixteenth century as “a place of delights, generous with grapes and various fruits… those industrious farmers had propagated the most chosen vines of Italy in their vineyards”. A small estate of 50ha producing wines and olive oils, their vines are low-yielding with care taken to produce the freshest, most concentrated wines possible winning plaudits every year for their Frascati.
