Birthed from a generational dream, Paola & Ippolito De Ferrari founded Poderi Boscarelli in the 60s after Paola’s father Egidio Corradi had purchased two small farms at the beginning of the decade dissapointed at the then recent downturn in quality. With enthusiasm & consideration for the potential of the estate the couple planted vineyards & built the winery in what were old stables. The estate now with Luca & Nicolò De Ferrari the estate has 22 hectares of vines planted & vintage after vintage produces wine of care, passion & most importantly of place. Production at Poderi Boscarelli focuses primarily on Vino Nobile DOCG, which represents 80% of their production. Vino Nobile is their most representative wine & the first to be produced at the estate. Based on the age of the grapes & their selection, different expressions are produced, from Nobile to Nobile Riserva & more.
